Dear friends of Türkiye

Dear Visitors of our Consulate General and our website,

I have the honor to assume my duty as the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Houston as of August 1st, 2023.

The Consulate’s consular district covers the States of Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Our main goals will be to further develop commercial, cultural, scientific and social ties between Türkiye and these States; to foster close cooperation and dialogue with the official authorities and to build new bridges between the Turkish and American people. We will also continue to support and provide fast and effective access to consular services to the Turkish citizens and the visitors of our Consulate whenever they need us. In order to achieve these goals my colleagues at the Consulate and the Offices of the Education, Commercial and Religious Affairs Attachés will be ready to serve.

I would like to particularly express that we look forward to receiving your suggestions and thoughts to better understand your expectations from our Consulate to be able to improve our services and to develop projects together with you.
