Dear Fellow Citizens,
Distinguished Members of the Turkish-American Community,

I assumed my duties as Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Houston on October 1, 2026.

It is a source of great pride and pleasure to serve our valued citizens residing within our consular district which encompasses the US states of Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Protecting the rights and interests of our country and our citizens, and ensuring the uninterrupted and timely provision of consular services, will remain our foremost priority. Our doors will always be open to all our citizens, people of Turkish heritage, and friends of Türkiye.

With the contributions of our Attachés for Trade, Education, and Religious Services, advancing commercial, economic, cultural, and scientific relations between Türkiye and the states within our consular district will also be among our principal objectives.

I firmly believe that the Turkish-American community will continue to make valuable contributions toward achieving these objectives. I have no doubt that, alongside your support, in a spirit of unity, harmony, and solidarity, your views and suggestions, will also provide valuable momentum to our efforts.

You can find detailed information about our consular services on the website of our Consulate General. You may also reach us by email at consulate.houston@mfa.gov.tr or through our social media accounts to share your questions and suggestions.

On behalf of my colleagues and myself, I extend my warmest regards and greetings to all our citizens and friends throughout our consular district.
