Turkish Economy Minister, His Excellency Zafer Çağlayan, will be visiting Houston with a large delegation with prominent businessmen between April 1-2, 2013, on the occasion of the Turkish Airlines’ inaugural non-stop flight from İstanbul to Houston.

In conjunction with this visit, the Greater Houston Partnership, in coordination with our Consulate General, Texas Turkish American Chamber of Commerce, and the Turkish Ministry of Economy will organize the “Houston - Turkey Business Conference” on April 2, 2013 in the morning (8:30-9:30 Registration+Networking+B2B Meetings; 10:00-11:15 Business Conference) at Omni Houston Hotel.

The conference will provide a unique opportunity for US companies and decision makers to explore business, trade and investment opportunities in/with Turkey and meet with senior Turkish businessmen, investors and representatives of leading Turkish business/trade associations. The Business Conference will include a keynote address delivered by Minister Çağlayan, and feature other prominent speakers such as Robert W. Harvey, President & CEO of GHP and Texas State Comptroller Susan Combs.
