The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey grants Research Awards with an aim of supporting academic studies in the field of the Turkish economy, emerging market economies and/or central banking, and making these studies accessible to a larger audience. This activity, which was previously named The Contest For Academic Studies, has been renamed The Central Bank Research Awards since 2014.
