Ladies and
Gentlemen,

102nd anniversary of the Turkish Republic gives us a unique opportunity
to appreciate and celebrate the Turkish Republic’s miraculous success story
from its very beginning.

Since the proclamation of the Republic, Türkiye has undergone
comprehensive and far-reaching social, political and economic reforms under the
statesmanship of our founding father Atatürk, which unwaveringly anchored
Türkiye among the democratic and modern nations of the world. Today his vision
remains valid and continues to guide the Turkish nation and the Turkish
leadership in a turbulent world.

The importance of Türkiye’s successful transformation is perhaps more
visible than ever today, as the regions surrounding Türkiye are still
confronted with wars, conflicts, instability, poverty and humanitarian crises.
The Turkish Republic has already proven its resilience against the regional and
global shocks. Türkiye has become a defender of stability in its region and a
strong advocate for cooperation, peace and progress on the global stage.

Türkiye thus became one the very few countries
that are able to assume mediation roles in the peace efforts in our region as
we have recently observed in the ceasefire talks in Gaza war. The ceasefire
deal in Gaza was reached with the joint and intensive efforts of the United
States of America, Türkiye, Egypt and Qatar.

Distinguished guests,

Türkiye and the United States of America have long-standing alliance.
This deep-rooted partnership has made important contributions to the peace and
stability of the Euro-Atlantic geography. Today, relations between Türkiye and
the USA have diversified and intensified. Indeed, both countries have common
interests on many regional and global issues. The recent meeting between
President Erdoğan and President Trump in Washington DC on 25^th of September
2025 was highly successful for both sides to open new horizons in our multi-dimensional
cooperation.

We are pleased to observe that
our trade relations have steadily grown over the last decade. The trade volume
between Türkiye and the United States reached 43 billion dollars in 2024.

The eight southern
states covered by my Consulate also play an important role in our bilateral
trade and investment ties. Türkiye’s trade volume with these eight states
reachedto 8,3billion dollars in 2024.

Investments form
another strong pillar in our economic partnership and Texas in particular is
becoming a major center for Turkish investments. In the Greater Houston Area
alone, more than 20 Turkish companies have already invested approximately 1,5
billion dollars. There is a clear upward trend, with more Turkish
companiesseeking business opportunities in the southern states of the USA.

Dear Guests,

Taking this opportunity, I want to extend my special thanks to my wife
Özge Akıntı and all Turkish consular staff who did their best for the smooth
organization of this marvelous celebration.

I respectfully commemorate the Founder of our Republic, the Great Leader
Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and all the heroes of Turkish Independence War.

I respectfully and sincerely thank you all for joining us tonight to
celebrate Turkish Republic Day and sharing our joy and enthusiasm.

As we proudly celebrate the 102nd anniversary of our beloved Republic,
we remain committed to working for a brighter future with confidence, unity and
determination.
